Notwithstanding anything contained in the West Bengal Utilisation of Land for Production of Food Crops Act, 1969, the Project Director shall have all the powers of a Collector under the said Act and the share due to the Collector amounting to ten per cent of the gross produce of any land requisitioned under that Act within a notified area shall be deposited in the Dharmagola set up under sub-section (1) of section 23.
