For clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 4 of the West Bengal Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1993, the following clause shall be substituted:— “(b) The Member-Secretary shall hold office for a term of eight years from the date he assumes office, or until he attains the age of sixty-eight years, whichever is earlier.”.
