(1) Every Co-operative society shall display its name and the address of its registered office along with the registration number in legible character in a conspicuous position— (a) at every office or place at which it carries on business; (b) in all notices and other official publications; 20 THE KOLKATA GAZETTE, EXTRAORDINARY, MAY 25, 2010 The West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act, 2006. (c) on all its contracts, business letters, orders for goods, invoices, statements of accounts, receipts and letters of credit; and (d) on all bills of exchange, promisory notes, endorsements, cheques and orders for money it signs or that are signed on its behalf.
