(1) An appeal shall lie from an order shown in column (2), to the authority shown in column 4, within the period shown in column (5), of the Third Schedule to this Act. (2) The provisions of the Limitation Act, 1963, shall not apply to an appeal referred in sub-section (1). (3) When an appeal is presented after the expiry of the period of limitation specified therefor in the Third Schedule to this Act, it shall be accompanied by an application for condonation of delay setting forth the facts on which the Appellant relies to satisfy the Appellate Authority that he had sufficient cause for not preferring appeal within such time. If, after hearing the both sides, the Appellate Authority is satisfied that the appellant had sufficient cause for not preferring the appeal within such time, then it may condone delay and may proceed to deal with the appeal. (4) Save as provided in the Third Schedule to this Act, no appeal shall lie against an order, decision or award made under this Act. (5) An appeal referred to in sub-section (1) shall be disposed of by the Appellate Authority within six months from the date of its presentation.
