When an order is made under section 89 for the winding up of a co-operative society, the Registrar may, in accordance with the rules, appoint a person to be liquidator of the society and fix his remuneration and may remove such person and appoint another in his place: Provided that it shall not be necessary to appoint any liquidator for winding up of a co-operative society which has not commenced working, or has share capital or members' deposits not exceeding five hundred rupees.
