(1) If the managing committee of a co-operative society, or Delivery of a person appointed under section 24 or section 26 to manage the affairs he possession boo of of a society, or an officer deputed under sub-section (2) of section 26 accounts,s' to the service of a society, or a liquidator appointed under section 90 etc., of a for winding up a society is resisted in, or prevented from, taking possession society. of any books, accounts, documents, securities, cash or other properties of the society by any person not entitled to be or to remain, in possession of the same, tl Registrar or any person authorised by him in this behalf may apply to ally Presidency Magistrate or Magistrate of the first class within whose jurisdiction such books, accounts, documents, securities, cash or other prop...rties may lie, for seizing and taking possession of the same. (2) On receipt of an application under sub-section (1), the Magistrate shall authorise any police-officer, not below the rank of a Sub-Inspector, to enter and search any place where the books, accounts, documents, securities, cash or other properties are kept or likely to be kept and to seize, and hand over possession of, the same to the Registrar or the person authorised by him, as the case may be.
