(1) The salary, allowances payable to and other terms and condition of service of the Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson and members of the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission shall be such, as may be prescribed: Provided that the salary, allowances and other terms and conditions of service of Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson and the members, shall not be varied to their disadvantage after appointment. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson or any Member of the commission may relinquish his office by giving in writing to the State Government a notice of not less than three months.
