(1) The State Government may

(1) The State Government may. oy notification ie the Official Gazettc, make rules for carrying out the purposes of ibis Act. (2) in. particular and without .preiudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of- the following matters, namely : — (a) the place at which, the days on which and the manner and conditions in which a Juvenile Court may hold its sittings; (b) the procedure to be followed by the Court in holding inquiries under this Act; (a) the establishment, certification and maintenance of reformatory, industrial and borstal schools; (d) the establishment, recognition and maintenance of . reception homes including special reception homes for foundlings and after-care organisations; (e) the internal management, discipline and inspection of such schools, homes and organisations includ- ing the medical examination of the inmates of such schools, homes and organisations and their segregation on grounds of health as well as on the basis of sex; U) the officers to be appointed to carry out the pur- poses of this Act, their powers and duties and the terms- and conditions of their service; (g) the constitution and procedure of Boards of Visitors referred to in section 9 and of the State Children's Board referred to in section 10; the mode and procedure of payment of the contribu- tion by parents and other persons responsible for the maintenance of juvenile delinquents and other nhildren; The West Bengal Children Act, 1959. 19 VIII of
