Where an amount is certified under sub-section (I) of section 84 to be due from any person, such amount, or where such person proceeds under section 85, such amount as the Court or the State Government, as 568 The Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990. XXXII of 1990.] (Part 111.—Finance.—Chapter 1/11.—The Municipal Fund, Budget, Loans, Accounts and Audit.—Sections 87-89.) the case may he, may decide to be due from such person, shall be paid within three months from the date of certificate under sub-section (1) of section 84 or, as the case may be, within such period, not less than three months from the date of such decision, as the Court or the State Government, as the case may be, may allow and in the case of default of payment, the amount shall be recoverable by the Corporation as an amount decreed by the Civil Court.
