It shall be the duty of every police officer in or outside Chandernagore to assist the Corporation, the Mayor-in-Council, the Chief Executive Officer or any other officer or employee of the Corporation, in the exercise of the powers and discharge of the duties and the functions under this Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder as and when such assistance is called for.
