If the Chief Executive Officer is of opinion that any eating- house, tea-shop,

If the Chief Executive Officer is of opinion that any eating- house, tea-shop,. hotel, boarding house, bakery, aerated water factory, ice factory or other place where food is sold or prepared for sale or any theatre, circus, cinema-house, dancing hall or similar other place of public resort, recreation or amusement, as the case may be, is kept open without or otherwise than in conformity with the terms of a licence granted under section 238, he may by an order in writing stop the use of any such premises for any such purpose for such period as may be specified in the order after recording reason of such opinion: Provided that no such order shall be made until the licensee or other person keeping the premises so open has been given an opportunity of being heard.
