The Chief Executive Officer shall sanction the building ordinarily within a period of sixty days unless further information or document be called for or sanction be refused in the meantime on such grounds as may be prescribed: Provided that a provisional sanction may he given for the erection of building for the use of which a licence or permission is required from any department of Government or statutory body under any law for the time being in force in accordance with such procedure as may be prescribed: Provided further that if it appears to the Chief Executive Officer that the site of the proposed building is likely to be affected by any scheme of acquisition of land for any public purpose or by any proposed regular 610 The Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990.
