(1) All streets and public places, squares, parks, and gardens Vesting of pltr not being the property of, and kept under the control of Government of ub in the ic s eets the Board of Trustees for the improvement of Chandernagore including corporation. the soil, sub-soil and the side-drains, footways, pavements, trees, stones and other materials, implements and other things provided for such streets and other public places, which are situated in Chandernagore shall vest in the Corporation. 605 The Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990. (2) Whenever the Corporation proposes to determine the name by which any public street or public place is to be known or to change the name of any public street or public place, it shall refer the proposal to an Advisory Committee constituted under sub-section (3) for its consideration. (3) The State Government shall, by notification, constitute an Advisory Committee for naming, or changing the name or, any public street or square in Chandernagore. The Advisory Committee shall consist of such number of persons, not exceeding eight but not less than Sive, as the State Govenment may think fit.
