for sub-sections (2), (3), (4) and (5) of section 23, the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely,— "(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 21, a person disqualified under section 35 shall not, for such period as may have been deter- mined by the court under that section, be qualified to be an elector of. any constituency: Provided that the State Government may by order remove such disqualification, if it thinks fit, on sufficient cause being shown."; XXXVI of 1954. ,The Chanderhagora Municipal Act, 1955.
