after section 458, the following heading and sections shall be inserted, namely :- West Ben. Act XXXVII of 1950. 45SA. Mainten- ance of Poor Fund "Poor Fund. (1) The Corporation shall maintain the Poor Fund maintained by the Administrator of Chandernagore immediately before the date of commencement of the Chandernagore Muni- cipal Act, 1955 and the powers and duties of the Corporation in all matters relating to the administration of the Poor Fund shall, subject to the general control of the Corporation, be exercised and performed by a Poor Fund Committee. (2) The constitution, powers and duties of the Poor Fund Committee referred to in sub-section (1) shall be determined by regulation made in that behalf by the Corporation with the previous sanction of the State Government.
