The Board shall cause to be prepared the municipal assessment book referred to in section 185 of the Calcutta Municipal Act, 1951 and the assessment list referred to in section 136 of the Bengal Municipal Act, 1932 and the powers of the Commissioner of the Calcutta Corporation or the members of the Municipal Corporation of Chandernagore or of the Commissioners at a meeting in a municipality to amend the municipal assessment book or the assessment list shall be exercised by the Board.
