(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Cattle Licensing Act, 1959. Short title and Coal (2) It shall come into force in such urban areas and mm.ance- ent. with effect from such dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different urban areas.
