In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "appointed day" means the date on which this Act comes into force; (b) "Auditorium" means the Auditorium of the Institute, and includes the stage; (c) "Committee" means the Committee constituted under section 5; (d) "Institute" means the Calcutta University Institute at 7, College Square (East), Calcutta, registered under the 21 of 1860.
