(1) The Senate shall meet at least thrice in a financial year, other than for convocation, on dates to be fixed by the Vice-Chancellor. One of such meetings shall be held before March and shall be called the Annual Meeting. The Senate may also meet at such other times as it may, from time to time, decide. (2) One-third of the total number of members of the Senate shall be a quorum for a meeting of the Senate: Provided that such quorum shall not be required at a convocation. (3) The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit, and shall, upon a requisition in writing signed by not less than fifty per cent. of members of the Senate, convene a meeting of the Senate. A meeting on such requisition shall be held within fifteen days of the receipt of the requisition by the Vice-Chancellor.
