(1) Subject to the supervision, direction and general control of the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs shall be the chief academic and administrative officer in matters concerning undergraduate studies and research and such other matters as may be delegated to him. (2) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor forAcademic Affairs shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed or delegated to him by or under the provisions of this Act.
