Subject to the supervision, direction and general control of the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar shall act as the Secretary of the Senate, of the Syndicate and of the Academic Council and shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed, or delegated to him by or under the provisions of this Act.
