The State Government shall cause a survey to be made in the Survey. areas of Calcutta as described in sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Calcutta Thika Tenancy Act, 1949 in accordance with the provisions of the Calcutta Survey Act 1887, in order to record the names of thika tenants and of Bharatias.
