Repeal. 21. The Calcutta Thika Tenancy Act, 1949 is hereby repealed. saving of 22. In computing the period of limitation prescribed by any-law for limitation_ the time being in force for an application for ejectment of a Bharatia or for an appeal from an order or decree made on such application or suit or for the execution of an order or decree for ejectment of a Bharatia, the period from the 19th day of July, 1978 to the date of coming into force of this Act shall be excluded.
