In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— Dofinitions. (a) "appointed day" means the 9th clay of June, 1967; (b) "the institution" means the Calcutta National Medical College together with the hospitals, clinics and dispensaries attached thereto and used in connection therewith and includes all lecture rooms, museums, laboratories, libraries, hostels and board- ing houses used in connection with or as accessories to or adjuncts of the said college, hospitals, clinics or dispensaries.
