A copy of any receipt, application, plan, notice, order or other Admissibility document or any entry in a register in the possession of any municipal authority shall, if duly certified by the legal keeper thereof or olher person evidence, authorised by the Municipal Commissioner in lhis behalf, be admissible in evidence of the existence of Lhe document or entry, and shall be admitted as evidence of the mailers and transactions therein recorded in every case where, and to the same extent LO which, the original document or entry would, if produced, have been admissible to prove such matters and transactions. 592, No officer or other employee of the Corporation shall in any legal Evidence of proceedings lo which the Corporation i s nol a party, be required lo produce ™ any register or document the conients of which can be proved under seciion ihe 591 by a certified copy, or to appear as a witness lo prove any mailer or Corporalion. transaction recorded therein save by order or the court made for special cause.
