(1) Whoever— (a) uses a public convey.incc while suffering from a dangerous disease, or (b) uses a public conveyance for ihe carriage of a person who is suffering from any disease, or (c) uses a public conveyance for the carriage of lhc corpse of a person who has died of any such disease, shall be bound to lake proper precautions againsl lhe communication of llie disease to olher persons using or who may (hereafter use the conveyance and lo notify such use io lhc owner, driver or person in charge of lhe conveyance and report wilhoui delay to lhc Municipal Commissioner the number of the conveyance and the name oT the person so noli Tied. (2) Where any person suffering from or lhc corpse of any person who I MS died of a dangerous disease has been earned in public conveyance which ordinarily plies in '[Kolkaia] orany pan thereof, ihe driver thereof shall forthwith report the fact to lhe Municipal Commissioner who shall forth wiih cause lhe conveyance lo be disinfected if that has noi already been clone. (3) No such conveyance shall be again brought into use until the Chief Municipul Health Officer has granted a certificate staling lhai it can be used without causing risk of infection. (4) Whoever fails to make io the Municipal Commissioner any report which he is required lo make under this section shall be guiliy of an offence.
