Subject lo the provisions of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, the Indian Elecricity Acl, 1910, the '[Kolkata] Metropolitan Water and Sanitation Authority Act. 1966, the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act. 1978 and such other Act as may be notified by the State Government Tor the purpose of this section, the Slate Governmeni may by rules provide for the following:— " (a) lhe sanction by the Mayor-in-Council of specific rights of way in the subsoil of public and private streets in '[Kolkata] for different public utilities including electric supply, telephone or other telecommunication facilities, gas pipes, water-supply, sewerage and drainage, and underground rail system, pedestrian subways, shopping plazas, warehousing facilities and the apparatus and appurtenances related thereto provided by Government, any statutory body or any licensee under any of [he abovemcntioned Acts; (b) lhc levy of any fee or charges permissible under any of the abovememioiied Acts; (c) the furnishing io the Corporalion of maps, drawings and Kiaiemenis which shall enable i[ to compile and maintain precise records of lhe placement of the underground utilities in '[Kolkaia],
