(1) All public drains, all drains in, alongside or under any public street, and all sewage disposal works constructed or acquired oul of the Municipal Fund or otherwise and all works, materials and things appertaining thereto, which are situated within or outside1 [Kolkaia] shall vest in the Corporation. (2) AH public rind oilier drains which are vested in lhe Corporation arc hereafter in lhis Acl referred lo as municipal drains. (3) For lite purposes of laying, constructing, enlarging, deepening or otherwise repairing or maintaining any such drain or sewage disposal work, so much of lhe sub-soil appertaining thereto as may be necessary for the said purposes shall be deemed also lo vesl in the Corporation, (4) All drains and venlilaiion shafts, pipes and alJ appliances and lltlings con nee Led with the drainage works constructed, erecled or sel up oni of ihe Municipal Fund in or upon premises nol belonging; lo the Corporation, whether— (a) before or after the commencement of ihis Acl, and (b) for lhe use of ihe owner or occupier of such premises or not. shall, unless lhe Corporation has otherwise determined, or does at any lime otherwise determine, vest and be deemed always Lo have vested in die Corporation.
