(I) When any sum is due from any person on account of— (a) lax on professions, trades and callings, ur (bl tax on advertisements oilier than the advertisements published in newspapers, or -(c) any other lax. fee or charges leviable under lhis Acl. lhe Municipal Commissioner may either prosecute such person, if prosecution lies under the provisions of lliis Act, or cause to be served on him a notice of demand in such Tumi as may be prescribed or in any oilier form io ihe like effeci. (2) The provisions uf section 217 and clause (a) of seclion 224 shall, wilh all necessary modification apply to every such notice of demand.
