Save as otherwise provided in this Acl, any lax levied under this Acl may Lie recovered in accordance wilh lhe following procedure and in such miinner as may he prescribed— (a) by presenting a bill, or (b) by serving a notice of demand, or (c) by distraint and sale ol a defaulter's movable properly, or (d) by (lie attachmenl and sale of a defaulter's immovable properly, or (e) in llic ease of '[property taxi on lands and buildings, by ilie attachment of' rent due in rcspcct of lhe land or the building, or (0 by a certificate under the Bengal Public Demands Recovery Act. 1913.
