(I) When the annual valuation under sub-section (2) of section Public noiicc 179 or a general revaluation under sub-sect ion (I) of section I SO in any inspection of warcl of the Corporation or part thereof, as the case may be, has been assessment completed, the Municipal Commissioner shall cause the respective lisl' valuation to be entered in an assessment list in such form and containing such particulars with respect to each land or huilding as may be prescribed. (2) When the assessment list has been prepared, the Municipal Commissioner shall give public notice thereof and of the place where the lisl or a copy thereof may be inspecied, and every person claiming lo be ilie owner, lessee, sub-lessee or occupier of any land or building included in the lisl and any authorised agent of such person shall be ai liberty io inspect lhe list and to lake extracts therefrom free of charge. (3) The Municipal Commissioner shall give puhlic notice of lhe place, lime and dale, nol less lhan one month after lhe preparation of lhe assessment list as aforesaid, when he will proceed io consider the annual valuations oTlands and buildings entered in the assessment lisl, and in all eases in which any land or building is for the firsi time assessed, or the (Part TV.—Taxation.—Chapter XH.—i'owers of Taxation an/1 proper!) taxes.—I). 'lixpltnuiiiwi.—A wrilien nolice under this seciion shall be deemed io be duly served if il is sent by post under certificate of posiing to the owner or to any lessee, sub-lessee or occupier or any land or building and. in such ease, the dale of the cerlificalc of posting shall be deemed lo he the dale ol' service of the notice lo the owner or to lhe lessee, sublessee or occupier or such land or building.
