(1) Any Councillor '7 * * may give notice of raising discussion on a mailer of urgent public importance to the Municipal Secretary specifying clearly the matter to be raised. (2) Such notice supported by lhe signatures of at least two olher elected members shall reach lhc Municipal Secretary at least forly-eighl hours before thedate on which suchdiscussion issoughtand the Municipal Secretary shall immediate I y place it before lhc Chairman or in his absence, any member of the panel of Presiding Officers and circulate lhe same among the members in such manner as he may think fit, (3) The Chairman or, in his abscnce, any member of the panel of Presiding Officers may admit fordiscussion such notice or notices as may appear to him to be of sufficient importance and allow such time for discussion us he may consider appropriate, (4) There will be no formal resolution nor voting. 107, (1) Any Councillor -* * * may ask Tor statement from the Mayor-in-Council on an urgent matter relating to Lhe administration oflhe Corporalion or the municipal government of1!Kolkata] by giving a notice lo lhe Municipal Secretary al least one hour before the commencement of the sitting on any day. (3) Not more lhan two such matters shall be raised at lhc same sitting and in Lhc event or more than two mailers being raised, priority shall be given to lhc mailers which are, in the opinion of the Chairman or, in his absence, lhe member of the panel of Presiding Officers, more urgent and important. (4) There shall be no debate on such statement at lhe lime it is made.
