(1) As soon as may be after the commencement of this Act, the Establishment State Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, constitute, of the for the purposes of this Act, an authority to be called the Calcutta Metropolitan Metropolitan Development Authority (hereinafter referred to as the Development Metropolitan Authority).
