(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) place and time of meetings of the Metropolitan Authority and the procedure to be followed at such meetings; 82 The Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 1972. XI of 1972.1 (Sections 22,23 .) (b) such other matters as are required to be, or may be, prescribed.
