Except as otherwise provided under this Act or the Contract Statutes, every salaried officer other than the Vice-Chancellor of service officers and every Teacher of the University shall be appointed under fac)nrd a written contract which shall be lodged with the University Teachers. and a copy thereof shall be furnished to the officer or Teacher concerned.
