(1) The Finance Committee shall consist of the following members :— (a) the President; (b) the Director of Public Instruction, Government of West Bengal or a person in the service of the State Government nominated by him, ex-officio; two members of the Board elected by the Board in the manner provided by regulations; and one person having knowledge of, or experience in, financial matters, appointed by the State Government. (2) The President shall be the Chairman of the Finance Committee and the Secretary to the Board shall be the Secretary to the said Committee. (3) It shall be the duty of the Finance Committee to prepare the budget of the Board and to perform such other functions as the,Board may direct.
