(1) The State Government shall, as soon as may be after this Act comes into force, establish a Board to be called the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education. (2) The Board shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, shall be entitled to acquire, hold and dispose of property, to enter into contracts and to do all other things necessary for the purposes of this Act, and shall by its name sue and be sued.
