(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Bhudan Yagna Act, 1962. (2) It extends to the whole of West Bengal. (3) It shall apply to such area or areas with effect from such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify in this behalf and different dates may be specified in respect of different areas.
