(1) The Corporation shall pay dividends on shares at such rate Dividends as may from time to time be fixed by the State Government, subject to on shares. 291 The West Bengal Backward Classes Development and Finance Corporation Act, 1995. [West Ben. Act (Sections 23-26.) any general limitations which may be imposed by the State Government, and the payment of such dividend shall be deemed to be a part of the expenditure of the Corporation. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the State Government shall not provide any money for the purpose of payment of dividend by the Corporation.
