(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Animal Short Slaughter Control Act, 1950. title, extent and (2) It extends to the whole of West Bengal. commence- ment. Application of Act. (3) It shall come into force on such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different parts of West Bengal.
