(1) The method of appointment, tenure of service, discipline and other terms and conditions of service of Registrar, Deputy Registrar, other officers and staff appointed by the Council shall be such as may be prescribed by regulations to be made in this behalf by the Council. (2) The Registrar, Deputy Registrar, other officers and staff appointed by the Council shall be subject to such conditions of service and shall be entitled to such remunerations, pay and allowances as may be prescribed by regulations. (3) The Council may cause for suspension, dismissal or removal of Deputy Registrar, other officers and staff or may initiate such other types of disciplinary action against them in such manner as may be prescribed by regulations and similar steps or action may also be taken by the Council against the Registrar subject to prior approval of the State Government. (4) The Registrar, Deputy Registrar, other officers and staff shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
