(1) All funds and other propcrlics of he Hospital which immcdiatcly bcfore the commencernenl OF h i s Act wcrc vcsled in Ihc Board arc hcrcby ~ansicrred IO and vcs~ed in rhc Srarc Govcrnmcnr free of uusls (if any) cxisting immedjarely before such commcnccmcnl. (2) 1 1 c said iunds and properties shalI, subjcct ta the provisions of sub-sec~ion (3), be applicd by the Stale Government lor my purposc connecred wirh the prevenuon, trcavncnl or relief of leprosy or for [he promodun of any research work on Icprosy, LS the Stale Government thinks fit. (3) The Slale Governrncnt shalI discharge OUL of the said funds and propcnics, all debts and pecuniary liabili~cs of thc Board (including cIairns, if any, rclaBng to pensions, provident fund and gratuities o i oflicers and scrvanls of the Board) for which thc Board would havc bccn liable if this Act had not k c n passed. (4) The Slate Govrmmcnt may from time to lime vary h e manner of [he invcstn~enl of any of the said funds, or capitalize any of the said funds or properties by sale or other manner of disposal.
