(1) The State Government may, at any time, call for and examine any record from a market committee for the purposes of satisfying itself as to the legality or propriety of any decision or order passed by such market committee and it may after giving an opportunity to the market committee of being heard pass such order thereon as it thinks fit. (2) The S tate Govemment may, pending the examination and disposal of the matter under sub-section (1), direct that the execution of the decision or order of the market committee be stayed.
