(1) (a) The Commission may appoint on transfer on deputation a Registrar from amongst the members of the West Bengal Legal Service who have put in at least eight years' continuous service in the cadre of West Bengal Legal Service. (b) The Registrar shall have overall control over the secretarial jobs of the adjudicative functions of the Commission and shall perform such other functions as may be specified. (c) The salaries and other allowances payable to, and the other terms and conditions of service of, the Registrar of the Commission shall be such as may, with the approval of the State Government, be specified. (2) (a) The Commission may, with the approval of the State Government, determine the numbers and categories of officers and other employees of the Commission. (b) The recruitment of, salaries and other allowances payable to, and the other terms and conditions of service of, the officers and other employees of the Commission shall be regulated in such manner as the Commission may, with the approval of the State Government, specify.
