Added by section 5 ibid. [The Uttar Pradesh Sahakari Gram Vikas Bank Act, 1964] [Section 31-32] (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the power under sub-section (1) the State Government may make rules providing for all or any of the following matters- (a) the procedure for the distraint and sale of produce of land mortgaged to a [Gram Vikas Bank]2; (b) the procedure for sale of property mortgaged to a [Krishi Evam Grmya Vikas Bank]2; (c) fixing the percentage under clause (c) if sub-section (3). of section 6 for determining the limit of the debentures issued by the Board ; (d) laying conditions under which the maximum amount of guarantee given by State Government under sub-section (1) of section 8 may be increased, withdrawn, restricted or modified; (e) any other matter which has to be, or may be, prescribed (3) All rules made under this section shall, as soon as may be, after they are made, be laid before each House of the State Legislature while it is in session, for a total period of not less than 14 days extending in its one session or more than one successive sessions and shall, unless some later date is appointed,' take effect from the date of their publication in the Gazette, subject to such modifications or annulments as, the two Houses of the Legislature may agree to make, so however that such, modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done thereunder.
