(1) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or the Board or the Commissioner or any ether person duly appointed under this Act in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act. (2) The Commissioner, the Additional Commissioner of waqfs, the Assistant Commissioner of waqfs, every auditor, every officer and servant of the Board 286 1860 and every other person duly appointed to discharge any duties imposed on him by this Act or rules or orders made thereunder, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code,
