On the office of the President or any member becoming vacant by his removal, resignation, death or otherwise, a new President or member shall be elected, nominated or co-opted, as the case may be, in his place, in the manner provided in this Act, and such President or member shall hold office so long as the President or the member whose place he fills would have been entitled to hold office, if such vacancy had not occurred.]4 Vacancies amongst members or defect in constitution not to invalid-date acts or proceedings of the Board
