Where a [Zila Panchayat]2 is dissolved under section 232, the following consequences shall follow: (a) all members of the [Zila Panchayat]2 including the Adhyaksha shall, on a date to be specified in the order, vacate their offices as such hut without prejudice to their [eligibility for being elected as a member or as an Adhyaksha]5 under this Act. (b) As soon as may be, thereafter, [the [Zila Panchayat]2 shall be reconstituted in accordance with the provisions of the Act]1; (c) such person or persons as the State Government may appoint in that 339 behalf shall so long as the [Zila Panchayat]2 is not recomputed exercise and perform, so far as may be, the powers and duties of the [Zila Panchayat]2 and shall be deemed to be the [Zila Panchayat]2 for all purposes. . 234- [***]6 235- [***]6 External control over [Kshettra Panchayat]2
