(1) The State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, constitute an Advisory Committee to advise on matters relating to the administration of this Act which the State Government or the [Labour]1 Commissioner may refer to it for advice. (2) The members of the Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the State Government. Their number including the Chairman shall be nine: Provided that the Advisory Committee shall include at least one member representing industrial workers and one representing employers of such industrial workers. (3) The Chairman of the Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the State Government.
