Subs. by the A. O. 1950 for (provincial Government) . 93 [The Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904] [Section 30] (b) in relation to any Ordinance promulgated by the Governor under Article 213 of the Constitution or any Regulation made by the Governor under paragraph 5 of the Fifth Schedule to the Constitution as they apply in relation to Uttar Pradesh Acts, made by the State Legislature : Provided that clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of this Act shall apply to an Ordinance referred to in clause (b) as if for the reference in the said clause (b) of sub-section (1) to the day of the first publication of the assent to an Act in the official Gazette, there were substituted a reference to the day of the first publication of the Ordinance in that Gazette.]1 [* * *]2
